You are invited to escape the cold and join me in tropical Costa Rica in the winter of 2025.

We will be staying at the Tierra de Suenos Lodge and Wellness Center a serene and lush jungle hideaway on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica just outside the resort town of Puerto Viejo.

The center is located right in the jungle. Monkeys, toucans, sloths and other wildlife inhabit the area and are often seen overhead. Nearby are also some of the most beautiful beaches

 There will be plenty of time to go deep in your yoga practice and to explore the beauty of Costa Rica!

Our theme will be:

SADHANA - an invitation to deepen your practice.

All classes will be lead by Karin Eisen who is Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher with over 20 years experience teaching yoga and 14 years running yoga retreats.

There will be four classes a day:

Our mornings will begin by going inward with a meditation practice. After which we stretch and test ourselves with a physical asana practice. Each day we will focus on a different category of poses and body parts.

Before dinner we will gather to stretch out. I call this session ROFDY (Rolling On the Floor Doing Yoga). We will end our day, after dinner, with an evening restorative session. We will recall the many blessings in our lives and savor our retreat experiences through the practices of meditation, yoga nidra, and pranayama.
